Can the machine import 3D Parts or Design From Scratch? | Learn more about CNC Tube Plasma
Yes our machines can take CAD imports STEP and IGES files that are supported by most CAD software, such as Solidworks, Tekla, SDS2, AutoCAD, ProEngineer, and more. Once imported, the CAD software will trace the CAD geometry and convert it into a CAM-ready file. This process normalizes along the cut path for a weld-ready part. The CAM-ready file is read by the system for CNC production.
Is the Machine Single or 3 Phase Power
As a full system we can setup the machines in all single phase or three phase dependent on he customers requirements.
Can you offer a round only machine ?
Yes we have various machines / setups available . If you speak to a sales rep they will advise which system suits you best.
Can the machine cut only mild steel ?
No our machines can cut a host of metal materials – including – Mild steel | Aluminum | Stainless steel to name but a few
Is your software compatible with my Tekla Software ?
Yes , Tekla importer is useful for customers with .step and .iges file types that contain a boundary representation of the tube model. These file types are exported from the Tekla software programs. Examples are illustrated in the pictures below.
Do you have machines in stock ?
Yes – Defendant on the exact setup we will either have in stock or ready to shop no longer then 2/3 weeks
Does the CAD / Cam come free with the machine ?
Yes it does ! if after two years you wish to continue with the Software Maintenance Package , there is a year long Software Maintenance Package that is repurchased on a yearly basis to continue to receive support and software updates.
What is the maximum weight the machine can support ?
Our machine hold up to 180kgs as standard , after this we have options on front support systems .
